I just received a personal call from a United Blood Services worker Wednesday thanking me for my O+ blood donation, which helped save the life of his neighbor. I was in near tears as he was telling me how vibrant and healthy his neighbor is these days.
What a great way to celebrate Hump Day!
Sometimes it seems like a burden but it’s the simple things we do in life that can affect the lives of others; one donation can save three lives. So far I saved six lives this year and on Friday plan to save three more.

Very noble, I have given blood several times in my life but never really thought about the service that I was commiting. It is good to know peoples lives are being saved. I may need to donate soon and bless someone with this royal type b blood pumping through my veins.
